The economical crisis we are in now cannot be blamed on one person. Many people say it is all Bush's fault. In many aspects it is his fault. The war is a big contribution to the still dropping economy, but is the war Bush's fault. Of course it was his decision to declare war, but it was it was not his fault for the terrorism that lead to it. Some people trace the problems back to Clinton. Some people blame it all on Bush. I think that we need to stop worrying about who is to blame and start worrying about how the problem will be fixed. Until people stop dwelling on the past, we cannot make way for a bright future.

I agree. There is no reason to go back into the past and try and point fingers at the president's decisions that have already been made. There is nothing we can do to change those decisions so why are we still talking about it. I would love it if we could just stay focused on the task at hand and get our soldiers out of war and get our money back in our pockets!
What fun is not pointing fingers? Everything has to be blamed on people its just human nature. I hated Bush and 90% of his desicions but i agree it was not just his fault it was a chain reaction from the 9/11 attacks and the pressure of just being put into office.

History has proven that people will never stop blaming other people for their own problems. History has also proven that we learn from history in order to make a better tomorrow. I think the only way to learn from our past is by pointing fingers. We must first find a cause to the problem, learn from that cause in order to prevent that problem to happen again. Sometimes pointing fingers isn’t a negative thing, but a means to find a resolution or prevent the problem to happen in the future.
I completly agree with you. I am a republican and stand behing Bush's decision for the war. Though it is an unfortunate situation that the war is taking place the reason our economy is the way it is I believe it closely linked to the banks. Especially in South Florida where I am from the banks were handing out mortgages to people who did not quialify and could not meet payments. Bush or Clinton are not to blame. Nobody is to blame it is just a unfair situation we are living in.

Although I hate Bush with a passion, I agree that we need to stop blaming him an fix the problems that at hand. We can say that he did this and he did this but until we fix the problem we are jus as much to blame for the problems that we are facing.
I agree, this is the way any goverment works though. People will never stop pointing fingers. You may come to find out that most of the poeple pointing fingers are probably the ones that don't really know much about the goverment, economy, or any issue that has to do with the United States. You are right, there isn't one specific person to blame in the economic downfall, or military entrance into war, but people will probably never stop pointing fingers.

There in lies the problem. History is the best predictor of what is to come. people refuse to look at the past, therefore do not learn from the mistakes or the successes. when you look to the past you often find solutions to the future problems. people dont look to the past because they dont want to see it. they dont want to know that all of congress most of which were democrats voted to go to war. they dont want to see that in the great depression social parograms and government intervention made things worse. They dont want to go back and point fingers, because they often find they are pointing them at themselves. Look, Learn, and adapt.
