The recent interrogation techniques used by the government have been scrutinized saying they are too tough. When is interrogation too tough when the suspect could yield information that could save american lives? When is it too tough when at a time of war, when the suspects are committed to killing americans. The techniques being used provided much useful information. Im not saying to push people to a point of human indecency, but why play nice when were americans are getting their heads cut off ? Im not encouraging torture, but the government cant play nice when we as a nation look weak.

Are Americans any different than any other nationality? Are Americans more valuable than other people who just so happened to be born outside of a line drawn on a map? There are guidelines to interrogation techniques that the US wrote in the Geneva Convention, we have crossed them. At this point in time, we disregard international law and violate human rights in the pursuit of national interests just like other countries.
