In Frederick, Maryland at Fort Detrick three vials containing samples of Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis were misplaced causing the Military to begin a Army criminal investigation. This Encephalitis causes sickness in horses and can be transmitted to humans by mosquitos. When in contact with humans the strand can cause death. Should the U.S. be doing more to protect these viruses from being stolen. After all, we are the ones that might come in contact to it one day.

THIS IS SCARY! why do we have these viruses in the first place and how do we not know who took them. if in fact we do have all of these things stored in a room somewhere there should be a very small amount of people that have access to it and in the same boat we should know exactly who and when someone enters those kinds of rooms? i hope they find them soon or im staying away from the triple crown!
