Under the eye of a struggling Nation, President Obama has been very busy in his first Hundred days in office. He most recently has reached out to the Cuban government in talks of being open for diplomacy between our countries. This could be exactly what our country needs right now, with our global economic standing. But could something like this type diplomacy end up biting us in the rear? How do you think the President has faired during the first hundred days?

I believe that nothing can be truly judged by his first 100 days. The horrible shape of our economy is going to take years to fix. I will personally not be able to judge until I see some actual results from Obama's actions. Obama has a hard job ahead of him and the results of what he has done in his first 100 days will probably not show for another few years. I believe there is still a lot more to come, or else we are in trouble.
Its a shame that our economy and nation is in the standing that we are right now. I was not for him, however since he is our president and running this country I would like to think that he will be able to pull us out of the rut that we are in right now. It is to hard to say whether or not his first 100 days have been effective because they wont show for a while. Hopefully the work that he has been doing will have a positive outcome.

The 100 days idea is a bad way to decide if his policys are really going to have a large impact. Considering most of his new proposals will take over a year or two, judging any president in the first 100 days is not a good idea. So like always time will only tell, hopefully for the better.

I think the president is tackleing the problems wiht america pretty well so far. Theres only so much one man can do over night. To get things done in the country the president also needs congress to be on his side because without 2/3's of congress voting on your issues, nothing wil get passed in law. Opening talks with Cuba may be a good thing. Taking baby steps is the way to go here.
