We Are Not Alone...
Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell said yesterday that aliens are definitely real. He claims that he knows for a fact that we're being visited and that the U.S. government knows about it too. He is calling upon them to release information proving this or else he and his colleagues will. I think that is is hilarious because I believe there is no such thing as aliens and this is all one huge conspiracy.

I agree with you on that one. i think that his hay day is over and he just wants some attention. From my stand point science and religion don't mix.

There will always be someone who has a crazy idea. I guess its a good thing that we live in America and can talk about lots of things like aliens. Unless we have some evedience like a space ship or and actuall alien then there is no need to talk about them.

Someone is bored and needs attention, and with the poor economy he probably thinks that he can get them to settle out for some kind of big money deal, although i agree there is more out there than we know of i dont think were being visited.

This is the conspiracy. The conspiracy is that the government is holding that information about aliens from us. The government lies about everything else, why couldn't they be lying about alien exsistence. I know there has been something that you have seen or possibly heard that you still till this day can not explain... There is an alien in your home.

I don't think that Earth is the only planet that has life on it. I wouldn't doubt if there were other life forms. I also wouldn't doubt if the goverment was hiding some secrets about these so called aliens. If the goverement told the U.S. everything, then the entire world would have access to that information. If the world knew that there were other life forms then it would go into complete chaos.

I am very open-minded about the unknown, there very well may life elsewhere in the universe, at least to some degree. But more than likely, this astronaut could be suffering from some sort of PTSD from being exposed to the living conditions of his occupation where he is demented enough to fight the U.S. government. Or is waiting for a red carpet welcome from publicity. But regardless of the possible existance of aliens, this is making news and it would be interesting to see what information that could be released and what it would reveal. Because it is people like Edgar Mitchell that are necessary in exploring space and returning to earth, findings of the unknown abyss above us. That is probably empty of life asides from us, and Mr. Mitchell attempt will probably only be known as a publicity stunt. (even if aliens did exist..big brother wouldn't let us know! :P)
