So one in ever three kids are scared of global warming. Would this have anything to do with kids turning on Nickelodeon and being told that their parents should stop driving cars. So in the past five years our kids have been completely brainwashed over man made global warming. Informing kids in acceptable forcing them to watch Al Gore's video is nonsense. Wast of classroom time.

Global warming is a serious, progressing issue. I don't necessarily think that it is right to use the information we have as scare tactics to children as you imply, but the younger we get the word to the better we have for saving our country in the future. Even if we make it through our generation without any serious global warming issues, it will then ultimately be the next generations (our kids) responsibility to upkeep the environment as well.
