same sex marriage

For or against? Is it really anyone's buisness who people decide to marry. I feel like there are so many more important things going on in this world today occupying peoples time with wondering if a law should be passed allowing same sex marriages. The bond two people decide to make is a special and private matter and it should not be such a controversial matter.

Well from a christain stand point I don't agree because God intended marriage to be between man and a women. That is why is only a man and a woman can create a life. I am not syaing that you can't love who ever you choose but as far as bringing that to the church that is a whole nother matter.

I would have to agree with the comment above. I am a christian and I believe that marriage is intended for one man and one woman. That is just what I was brought up to believe. However, there are more important issues to deal with on a say to say basis then to worry about what is right and what is wrong in other people eyes.

Personally, I am all for same sex marriage. In this increasingly libral society it is already impossible for those who oppose homosexuality to ignore it. They are here and they are queer, and denying gay couples to get a contact saying they are joined in matrimony only stirs up more problems and protests on either side. However, it would certainly change things. There would be more people jointed financially, adoption rates would increase and socially homesexuality would be more and more accepted. I don't see the harm in it, besides that those in oppostition feeling forced to "convert" their lives. But I am certainly in support with Ms.D'Lando, its relationships, gay or straight and the act of marriage are private matters, and people should have full legal right to choose who they wish to marry.
