Iran the world's new Terror

I heard today that Iran welcomes the idea of "constructive" dialogue but will not stop its nuclear activities. This is very scarey. Iran bullies all the other middle eastern countries around knowing that the U.S. can't do to much with most of it's force in Iraq. The U.S. should use all means possible to stop them from having nuclear weapons.

Iran has stated over and over and given sufficient evidence that they are not trying to obtain nuclear weapons. Certain officials in the US government claim that Iran is attempting to foster the enrichment of nuclear material that can create nuclear weapons. Who are we to believe? Both countries have their own self interests in mind, so it is only logical that they would distort the facts to further their interests. All we as citizens have to go off of is basic logic and morals to assess the situation. Yes, Iran bullies countries in its sphere of influence, and so does the US in its sphere, which is much larger. Who are we to tell someone they cant have what we have already. How can we tell Iran that they cannot use nuclear power for civil purposes?

Iran needs to be paid attention to just as any other countries does that flaunts their nuclear weapon capabilities. This doesn't mean we need to act upon a country for advancing it nuclear sciences. If the country shows even a small attempt to create nuclear weapons to use then yes, act immediately.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is no joke. Neither is Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons. It's so sad that almost everyone misses the obvious reason for all of this: religion. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a shiite muslim. He is what you call a Twelver. Long story short, Twelvers believe in the second coming of the twelfth imam (or priest), Muhammad al-Mahdi, who they believe was hidden by god on this earth to emerge later as the ultimate savior of mankind. Similar to Christians belief that Jesus will return again. Well, the only problem is that Twelvers believe that the imam will only return when the world is in a state of total chaos and disorder. Ahmadenijad fervently believes that his purpose on earth is to usher in the return of the Mahdi. He has said this multiple times and has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel. Well, if he had nukes this would all be a whole lot easier...wouldn't it?
