In this day and age many people are pushing more and more for a nationalized health care system. Just recently there have been made provisions for the start of a nationalized health care system passed by the Obama administration. However, Government sponsored health care is not the answer. The answer to making health care affordable to all is to privatize health care. Private companies independent from the government for support, would compete amongst each other for your business driving costs down. The individual can then freely shop around from company to company much the same as car insurance. In order for this to work, the government would have to completely remove itself from the system. No government subsidizing, no regulation on care or quality, as well as no regulatory laws on practice.
