Paint Job Named After Presidental Hopeful The Flip Flop

At car shows it was very common to see tricked out cars with their fansy paint jobs many of which, cost the car owners thousands of dollars. One of the most popular by far in the late 1990's was the "Flip Flop Paint Job". As you might have guessed by now the greatest attribute of this particular paint job was that, if you look at it just right you would see the color change right before your very eyes! Wow, I know what you are thinking, "that would be pretty cool." Well it does look pretty cool on a car,YET that is not what we want in a potientail President of the United States. Once again the press only helped to confirm my beliefs that "Senator John McCain" does not own up to or perhaps he just forgetts what he campian platefrom that he stoud on just a few day earlier. He comes across evasive, careless and not precise in the least. Like I said early on a "FLIP FLOP" paint job on my car Would Be COOL but to put a president in office that "FLIP FLOP'S" on any issue that he is confronted on, well now that's Not COOL!

President Obama Wants to Meet With Muslim Leaders

If you are woundering why the title proclaims "Obama as President Of The United States" is because many don't think it is possiable. There is an article that say, Obama would like to hold a summit with the muslim leaders from around the world. That is a huge undertaking in it self, to say the least he would be a very green president. It is my position that although doing so would be quight knowable it would be to huge of an issue to tackle in his first term, but I'm all for it in his second term. The whole issue of the Middle East, Holy Wars and Holy Lands Division is far to complex to go into blindly! Just look at what George W. Bush got us into when he went into the Middle East Blindly! Their is "no" quick fix in this case and anyone who thinks that there is foolish and does not know much about history. Obama must be careful and prudent when he tries to approach this subjet matter as president.

McCain Was The "Real Loser"

After wacthing the republic debate I am very clear on who would not get my vote next year. I tend to give people a chance to show their quality of charactor before I put in my two cents. For some reason John McCain seems to think that just because he served his country {in the military} that he should be hailed "King" or something. Let's just say we cna count on him because he is a Veteran and he put his life on the line for the United States Of America. Well so did I and every other Military veteran. While I was in the United States Marine Corps I too put my life on the line for the good old USA. I too was put in harms way and do you know what I felt intitaled to "nothing!" That was the only thing in the whole debate that he had over his peers. He tried to hold it over Mitt Roomey's head by saying "I can lead this country because I was in the military for 20 years, I can lead this country and I will hire managers to manage it." He "McCain is first of all airigant, petty, wishy washy, a brown noser and most of all not up to the task at hand. He just wants to ride of the coatail of Ronald Reagan. This is a deffernt world from back then with a defferent set of problems; The American people are even different people now. As a result I think a lot higher about two of the four Republican Canidates. If I were to vote for any of them first would be "Mr. Huckabee" and then "Mr. Roomey." John Paul was out to lunch with himself.

KP's Impala Can Not Fall Victim

So I was listening to T.I. while doing my little workout, when I glanced up at the television. I did not believe my own eyes. "Obama's Licenses for Illegals leads to Endorsement". I was so shocked I almost tripped over top the treadmil.

I like Obama and even agree with some of his issues. He's not my personal choice for president but I'd kick it with him. I only caught the end of the news so when I got home I looked into it.

New York Governor Eliot Spitzer had proprosed this for his state and apparently Obama supported the idea, even after the outrage it caused for Spitzer. Could someone please tell me why he would do that other than trying to get votes at the last minute? Why would he support that? He can't be that desperate!

How is somebody going to get a driver's license who isn't even a legal citizen?!? If they can't even follow the law to get into the counrty, why would they follow the laws of the road? My Impala is not about to become a victim! Can they read a yeild sign? They can't even go to the local chevy dealership and upgrade their ride because THEY DON'T HAVE CREDIT because they don't pay taxes!

There are also bigger issues with giving illegals licenses. With a driver's license someone can get into just about any government building...they could get a passport..all sorts of things. With terrorism going on shouldn't we be a little more careful who we give these things too..especially people who aren't even suppose to be here?

Glitch in tax law

I have learned today that there is a loophole in the tax law that could allow illegal aliens to receive tax rebates if the economic stimulus package passes. What? Yes, taxpayers’ money might very well end up in illegal aliens' pockets. Apparently the IRS does not run a check on social security numbers when they process tax returns. Theoretically, you do not have to prove legal status to submit tax returns! This is very upsetting, and I think it is weakening the trust that the people have for our government. How are we supposed to trust that our government is representing our best interests, when they (Congress) cannot even agree about and fix this flaw in the tax law? Absurd!

Understanding National Gov"t

The State of Union address was first interesting to me and secondly I comprehended what the President was talking about. Certain words that Mr. Bush said sparked ideologies. The constitution came in mind and so did the roll of the federal government. I am taking a history class and understood the popalis movement by indentifing the national level supported from the west. How important was the government to curtail the needs of the people of the United States.

The Democratic response was a Kansas rep. that asked for help from the President ? I would've thought that either Hillary or Barack showed up.
Jung Kim

HE DID IT

Some say that Barack Obama snubbed Hillary Clinton at the State of the Union Speech. Truth be told, I believe that he did do it. Hillary is beating him in this race, and he is upset and so he wants to take it on Hillary. Hillary has not did anything to Barack, except campaign hard and express her thoughts and feelings, and things that she is going to do for America. That is the same thing that he did, so why be upset? Why did he do it, is really the question, not did he do it? No one will ever know because he says that he didn't do it on purpose and that he was speaking to Senator McCaskill. She backed him up on the issue, and said that it has been brought as something, when it is really nothing going on. Whats the deal?

CONGRATULATIONS HILLARY

I just would like to congratulate Hillary Clinton over her win in Florida, over Barack Obama and John Edwards. I believe that this years election will be one to remember because not only is their the possibilty of a woman being president, but because its Hillary Clinton, so that means Bill is BACK. This election is not about race, ethnicity, and sex; its about the better person, and who will do the job of being a president, and cleaning up the mess that the current President has made in the United States. Hillary campaigned long and hard, and I believe is now starting to wake up and smell the coffee, and stop making decisions on sex or ethnicity, but on whats right, and who can get the job done.

Money were your mouth is, or report card in this case

The importance of education is obvious in our growing society and being college students we percieve the future value in it. Well, remember when you were in highschool and that one special teacher took you under her/his wing and gave you the motivation you needed to perservere. Now teachers are expanding into new ideas of incentives. A growing trend of "paying students for good grades" has swept the U.S. and has been since the idea first arrived in Dallas's Highschool AP programs in 1995. Baltimore, New York, Atlanta, Alabama to name a few have been giving cash rewards up to 500 big ones for improvement on English and Math test scores. Even Exxon Mobil has jumped into this push for higher learning offering students $100 dollars for each passing grade in their AP college-prep exams. I think this is a great idea and wish i had had the opportunity to take advantage of a program like that in my highschool. Considering that college graduates make on average more money than non-college graduates, i think its just a step-up a toward higher learning adds right to higher pay. We need well-developed minds to help run the country. Thats why were America and still number one.

Church and State - Civil Rights

Lewis Black is a political topic comedian who has performed on stage since 1990. In one of his latest films, Red, White, and Screwed (2006 HBO Special), Lewis Black discusses his views on our government and why the president carries gay rights on such a high pedestal. Unlike George Carlin from my previous post, I agree with Lewis Black's speculation nearly 100%. It's pretty interesting how Black can make the somewhat touchy subject accurate and humorous simultaneously. I too, do not understand why many people in government are absorbed in gay rights/marriages when we have more pressing issues to worry about; welfare, health care, the war in Iraq, and so on. I thought Christian beliefs were not to interfere with government actions, am I wrong?

Security Security

Homeland Security is now tighting up even more on our borders. We were wondering how it could be done since the Free-trade agreement. It can be done and Michael Chertoff of Homeland Security says so. If you are planning to leave the country you better make sure you have a birth certificate in your back pocket or your passport handy otherwise, there will be no getting back into the U.S. A new rule is being implemented on January 31st that says anyone 19 yrs. or older will need more than just a U.S. drivers license to prove citizenship. Since the 9/11 attack Americans have realized we need to be alittle more careful with our beautiful country of "ruled freedom". We are starting to realize how good we have it here and its need for appreciation, respect, and cherishment.

Voting for the Future

Many people vote for tax cuts for the rich and other similar policies because they believe that some day they will be rich. That may happen, but statistics show that most people will remain in the class they are born into. People get they idea that they will be rich because they hear stories about people who were poor and started their own company and became rich, but these are exceptions to the rule. You should vote based on the class you're in now, not the class you think you'll be in in the future.

View on Voting

There is a lot of flaws in the voting system. One of the biggest flaws is people vote for who they think is going to win instead of voting for who they want to win. I'm one of those people who has fallen victim to this way of thinking. I would like Edwards to win, but I feel he has no chance. Does this mean I should still vote for him or should I focus my vote to someone who I feel has a chance. If I vote for one of the other two candidates I feel like I'm choosing the person I dislike less instead of choosing a candidate I really want to see in office.

Race and Gender in Election

I think it's crazy how this years election has focused so much on race and gender. I think it's great that these candidates are breaking down barriers, but race and gender doesn't determine whether a person is going to be a good leader. People have to look past the exterior and see what these candidates really stand for.

Get pockets ready

Everywhere you turn you hear how the U.S. is looking for ways to stimulate the economy. Well, I hope you all payed your taxes. News from Cnn last week states that The Treasury Department is taking part of the issue into their hands. U.S. tax payers will recieve rebate checks for $600 per person and $1200 per couple. Capitol Hill believes that the checks will be cashed and put right back into the system. I dont know about you but they can stimulate my pockets all they want. "Show me the money".

2008 ELECTION- THERE'S NEVER BEEN ONE LIKE IT

The race for presidency is tight, and there really is no frontrunner, but one thing for sure is the Democrats are turning out to vote. More and more people are turning out to vote than ever before. Its usually the republicans that turn out to all of the primaries and caucuses, but their is more democrats than republicans. Is Barack Obama the true reason to why more people are showing up to the polls, or is that "THE PEOPLE" want their vote to count, and they want to make a difference in the world, and the 2008 President Election. The democrats have always been outnumbered, and apparently they are tired of being outnumbered and wants change. What does all of this mean? Will the votes count, and will history be made in 2008?

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1707063,00.html?xid=feed-cnn-nation

IT DOESN'T COUNT

Why do we vote any way? When we vote, whose to say that our vote is going to count? We say that we want one person in office, and thats just our opinion. Our votes really do not have a say so, so more and more people are not turning out to vote. Is that good for America? No, but lately nothing that is going on is good for America. What is the purpose of voting again, because some where down the line I forgot, or maybe I just misunderstood the meaning of it. Whose to say that the elector college is going to pick the person that they want, when the voters chose someone else?

The Less to Vote

It is heard that most Democrats feel that their vote is not important and when most of them begin to think that they are less likely to vote. Gov. Charlie C agrees with the Democrats, it should not matter what party you belong to, voters should not feel less important at any cause. All votes count reguardless of the party that you are associated with. Will most Democrats change their outlook toward voting?

Who Is He...

"Florida Sen. Mel Martinez endorsed John McCain on Friday, a move likely to give the Republican presidential candidate a crucial boost with the state's Cuban-Americans just days before the primary."
Who exactly is Mel Martinez and why does his one opinion carry so much weight that he can sway Floridan republicans to the point that the media can just right off Giuliani and Romney? How can a guy who carries a 38% approval rate and only a 48% approval rate with his own party have such an effect? Is it because he is Hispanic? Has it become a racial issue? I just do not understand how our "unbiased" media can report that all of a sudden, just because of one man's opinion, 3.3 million Hispanics, a little more than 17% of Florida's population will vote for McCain mostly because an Hispanic senator backed him...now I can under stand the majority of Dade county voting for him with 57% of its population being Hispanic and three of its Senatorial representatives being Hispanic, all whom back McCain...but what about the rest of us...why does the media try to speak for us???

Propaganda and Free Speech

I was told about this video in it's full length form. I must admit that it startled me and made me angry. There is a lot of anti-government propaganda floating around. There is truth to some, but I'm beginning to see that it exists because of free speech. The first amendment that grants us free speech is a wonderful thing. It enables us to bite the hand that feeds.

The power of money

It is unfortunate that money always seems to win in the end. Whoever raises the most money, is able to advertise the most and thereby increases his or her exposure to the public. For example, Edwards does not have nearly as much money as Obama or Clinton, and he consistently finishes in third place. This works very well for the presidential candidates, because most people seem to just vote for whoever they recognize or like best. Is this based on sensational television or provocative radio advertisements , or sincere research and critical analyses of each candidate's stance on important policy issues? Hopefully this class will benefit all of us in this regard. We, as voters, need to take our votes seriously. It can make a difference: one vote and one delegate at a time. I hope voters' critical thinking will give the candidates a run for their money!

Economic stimulus package

President Bush and the House of Representatives proposed their economic stimulus package today. If the Senate passes it, many taxpayers will receive a tax rebate. It is quite surprising that the President and House could agree so quickly. Senator Harry Reid , however, does not seem all that impressed with the proposal. I wonder if tax rebates would actually stimulate the economy to get it out of a recession. If every taxpayer receives an extra $600, would all of them (or even the majority) spend it immediately? I would think a lot of people would have some sense and rather save or invest the money since a recession is a difficult time. If so, then the money would not be fed back into the economy and an alternate plan might be necessary.

Soft Language in America

George Carlin is a stand-up comedian who has spoken out and questioned actions of the government since the 1970s. During one of his shows in 1999, Carlin questions and speaks out against language that "the system has actually convinced people to use." George Carlin states that the government census attempts and succeeds in changing words and phrases around in order to please Americans psychologically. I agree with about 75% of his opinions, but I don't think it's the government alone that makes these changes. The video below is a snippit of his stand-up on "soft language."

Warning: Adult Context

Every vote should count

The national Democratic party stripped Florida of its Democratic delegates to the national convention, because the Florida legislature moved our presidential primary to January 29. This means that the votes of Florida Democrats will not count in determining who will be the Democratic nominee. I think this is a violation of every voter's right to vote and the right to have their votes count. This does not seem fair and just in a democracy. What happened to the voice of the people?

The Big Squeeze

The economy is on a down fall. Due to high cost of gas and food sales going up, many U.S. citizens are not intrested in the smaller things in life anymore such as ipods(mp3 players), or even a small cup of star bucks coffee. Big distrubutions such as these are losing money. Star bucks even increased the amount of a 20 oz. cup of coffe to $1, not mentioning target and other stores. But there seems to be one thing Americans can't seem to get enough of (regaurdless of what their budget is) which is Sony's HD-G Tv's. Will the economy ever be back on the rise.

Freedom of Voice

Although many citizens complain about American laws and policies, the fact that we are able to complain at all shows how much freedom we have, which is something that I'm sure all of you will agree with me in enjoying. The National Geographic magazine posted a story in August, 1999 which shows the true power of voicing ones opinions:

Chinese state security officers arrested Wei Jingsheng, an electrician, on March 29, 1979. Among his major crimes: writing essays arguing for democracy. Wei, who would spend 18 years in jail and become a prominent symbol of the power of the written word, was placed in the Beijing detention center. Chinese authorities feared Wei, recognizing that writing has an almost magical power: Words on paper, created by ordinary citizens, have overthrown governments and changed the course of history. So powerful is writing that the beginnings of civilization and history are most often defined as the moment cultures develop it.
Wei was beaten, starved, left in a room four and a half feet by nine feet, and kept on constant observation to make sure he never wrote another word. After 18 years, Wei was finally released and brought to America - his body hardly anything but bones, his teeth rotting - where his words and letters he was able to smuggle were made into a book. Can you imagine something like this happening in America? Or what it would be like to live in China, where the idea of democracy would have you thrown in jail for years?

Help for the Needy

Non-insured Florida residents are now in luck with medication. Governor Charlie C. is going to take action on the behalf of individuals who do not have enough money to afford medication, but need it. Now the question is will Charlie really take the stand in lending a hand?

Republicains Are "BIG SPENDERS"

Many people in this class may not remember the last time we had a huge deficit but I can. Our dear President Ronald Reagan: Lead us to another huge deficit. Can you guess his party affiliation? If you guessed Republican you are correct! When it think of most republicans I think of "Elitist with Money". Because of this I could never be considered a republican, I am elite if even if in my own mind, but I don't have enough money to fit the true profile. It is my belief that people who were born with a silver spoon once in office they spend like it. Know matter how big the deficit gets they know that their children want have to pay for it because they are rich. If America must trim the budget and they must take it from programs to help the "Average American" who do you think it hurts? If you guessed the rich you couldn't be further from the truth. As America builds this great deficit it is going to hurt the Average American, Poor Americans, Young Students, College Students, the Men and Women who are fighting for this country right know and many other less fortunate people. In bold contrast "President Bill Clinton" while in office brought the deficit down to one of the, if not the lowest point in history. Can you guess his parties affiliation? If you guessed Democratic then you are Correct! You only need to decide what's best for You, your education, your future, your family and maybe even your children that's if you can afford to have any at this current deficit.

Two bills would tighten Florida's gun license laws

"Two bills have been offered in the state Legislature that would make it harder for people in Florida to get or keep licenses to carry guns."
At what point do we say enough...when are people going to learn that its not the guns that are the problem... it is the idiots pulling the triggers, or leaving them sitting around for their children to pick up...that are killing people...why ban guns...why make it harder to own them...many people especially in northwest Florida hunt...why take that away from them?

Celeberties and Drugs

While recently watching the news, I saw that the actor Heath Ledger died of a drug over dose at the age of 28. Its a terrible tragedy that he was so young and he had so much potiental and was a great actor. We will never know his full potential all because of a drug over dose. Another example of this tragedy would be Anna N. Smith. Why would anybody do this to themselves, with everything to live for.

Can The Clintons Be Trusted

Bill and Hilary Clinton reputation for being straight forward on any subject matter is somewhat questionable at best. However the real question is are they good for our country at this time. If Hilary win the election will her husband just run the United States Of America from the back seat of the presidentail limo or would she get back at Bill because of his past lies, with her policies. Will our country end up in as much disarray as their family if she/they are elected as president? You can be the judge if only you "VOTE"!

No Name-Calling Week

In New York City, thousands of schools are doing what is now called, "No Name-Calling Week," which gives educators a chance to speak out and lecture against homosexual discrimination and homophobia. Between Jan. 21 through 25, No Name-Calling Week is sponsored to help reach out to students in 5th through 8th grade, to teach respect and methods of eliminating harassment via child bullies.
Dr. Eliza Byard, spokesperson for the GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, said, "Unfortunately, far too many students experience the negative impact of name-calling, bullying and harassment. Through proactive educational interventions like No Name-Calling Week, schools can make a difference in the safety of all of their students."
Despite their efforts, last year only a small percentage of students claimed to feel safe at school. Over 60 percent of students reported that bullying still continued.

I think this article really says something about our progression as a country. We have the technology to fly to the moon and back, we have the means to make better fuel efficient cars that pollute less, and we understand that we are but a tiny speck in the universe, yet we still have homophobes? I'm glad to see that there are people who are determined enough to try and bring something as small as the sexual orientation of strangers/neighbors/family to a halt and maybe start zeroing in on real issues.

Will Huckabee Last?

Not ready to pull out of Florida just yet, Huckabee tries to trim his budget. He stopped booking plane and bus tickets for journalist that were covering his campaign. It is a possibility that he will have to leave Florida before the primary on January 29th because he is so short on money. If he has to pull out of Florida before the primary, I think he might as well spend as much money on his journalist as possible because they are putting his name out there more than he is. He is only campaigning in one area at a time, they cover multiple counties. The way that it is looking, I do not think he has a chance of lasting too much longer.

Even More Confused Than Before

I am registered with a certain party. We are going on three weeks in this class. I am beginning to see that my party might have some "pie in the sky" views. When I look at the only other real competition, I see that their views are opposing. There seems to be a line drawn down the middle.I think that this is a high stakes popularity contest and that many issues will remain unchanged after the election. I am concerned about the amount of blind-folded people throwing darts at ballots. My hands are in the air right now. I really hope that this will all make sense in time.

Racist Radio Show, the Freedom of Speech

This isn't going to be the most informative, as I have already forgot the name of the radio host who made some racist comments on the air, but bear with me. The constitution holds the right to the freedom of speech. As much as everybody wants to point to the constitution when they are accused of saying something racist, descrimintory, or what not, everybody wants to shun the views they don't like and want this person off the air. There is no middle ground! The constitution holds that you have the freedom of the speech and of the press...to take him off the air for expressing his views is unconstitutional. Personally, I have watched a few shows and things on BET and such that are outwordly racist. Do you hear white people complain? No. Why? Because we just don't watch it! The beauty of the remote is shown. You can censor things that you don't want to hear or see by just letting it go or removing yourself from a situation.

Economic Embargos on America

There has been an economic embargo in place against Cuba for almost five decades now. This embargo was put in place by the Eisenhower Nixon administration in 1960 to try to remove a communist Fidel Castro. Here we are 48 years later still with the embargo and it's target, Castro. Economic embargo is a dangerous political tool that can work both ways. With a diminished view of America from foreign countries and a recession looming near, we should watch our step to prevent other nations from giving us a dose of our own medicine. It seems to me that we are skating on thin ice and we should do everything in our power to improve our global image so that we can maintain our status as a world power. But then again, empires fall. http://http://www.cubatravelusa.com/history_of_cuban_embargo.htm

Inexperienced Hopeful and the Question

Obama is relatively inexperienced as a politician. He has served one term as senator in Illinois. Where did he get the tenacity to think that he is qualified to serve as the leader of our nation? If his popularity comes from the effective use of the Internet, then I might deduce that his popularity comes from a younger crowd. If history repeats, the younger crowd will not show up at the polls in November.http://southwesterngrad.blogster.com/green_ears_presidents.html

Now for the question. Do we want an inexperienced leader or an already corrupt career politician?

Taunted Tiger

Before the tiger, Tatiana, lunged out of its cage at a zoo in San Francisco, the three men attacked by this animal were said to be taunting it. But they had to be more than taunting the tiger for it to climb up a wall and maul the three men, one of which ended up dead. All three men had blood alcohol levels of 0.16 and marijuana in their systems. I think that these men had to do something other than taunt this animal for it to attack like it did. I do think that the tiger should have been more confined so it could not have gotten out of its cage as easily as it did, but I also think that zoo visitors should be watched more closely so if they are doing something wrong they can be asked to leave. In the end, I think the tiger just got back at the men for whatever they did to it.

Arrest of Armed Man Near US Capitol

On Friday, Police arrested 38 year old Michael S. Gorbey. Gorbey was carrying a shotgun outside the United States Capitol. His vehicle had wires coming out of the glove box and propane tanks inside. Officers first spotted the man about two blocks away from the Capitol at Union Station. He was charged with being a felon and having possession of a firearm. I think it is great that officers caught this man but how many other men are out there like him? Probably a ton. It took officers two blocks to catch the man, think of what he could of done in a split second. Two blocks is too much. Yes, officers did their job successfully but I just do not think it was soon enough.

Banking on Speeders in Arizona

There is new technology developing in Arizona, photo radar detectors. Even though radar detectors and other speed enforcement technologly used to be about saftey, it is now about helping Arizona's budget. Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona, counts on anitcipated speeding fines. Her state budget is projecting a revenue shortfall and she hopes that speeding fines will make up for the loss. This is completely crazy to me. I do not think that any state budget should be based around speeding fines. Not only are photo radar detectors an invasion of privacy but does Napolitano really think that her plan is going to work? Now that residents of the state know that she needs the money and is out to get all speeders, I do not think anyone will be speeding anytime soon.

Mercy Killing or Murder

How do you feel about euthanasia? Should it be legal? I'm on the fence of whether it should be legalized. Part of me feels if the person has a terminal illness and is in a lot of pain they should have the right to die. Another part of me feels that if it becomes legalized that it will be expanded and people will be able to be end there life without it being a terminal illness that causes you great pain. Look at abortion it started out for the mother's health and then was expanded so that it is legal for any adult. There is also more complication because if the person is not able to speak for themselves (mental illness, coma, etc.), who has the right to decide for them if they don't have a living will.

Lier or not???

Does anyone think Bush is a lier or not? After reading some of the articles on the internet I think he is one of the biggest liers I've ever known of. If you differ fron what I have to say maybe you may want to read this.

1. America doesn't have an attorney general because Bush let his old guy resign after he broke too many laws for even the corrupt Bush administration. So tell us again why we don't have an attorney general.
2. Weaken our ability to intercept communications? Congress sent Bush a new domestic spying law and he vetoed it because it didn't grant Verizon and AT&T immunity for illegally spying on innocent Americans' phone records. Had nothing to do with his ability to intercept Al Qaeda - Congress gave him that, and he vetoed it. So again, it's Bush's fault we don't have a new domestic spying law.
3. Funding the troops? Huh? Congress fully funded the troops. They're fully funded until after New Years. It's only November 1. What is he even talking about?
(Info used from : www.americablog.com)

Enough of Bush!

Finally Bush is about to leave. He only has 368 more days left for his term. I personally think its great since he has led the country down the hill massively. The U.S. economy has been falling, gas prices have always been on the high. I feel its great he's leaving. What do you'll think.

The war, the troops, the economy, the health care system the pet, you decide. We really are a sick society we value the life of a pet more than the human being themselves. The people in the United States Of America would rather put a person in jail for five years just for leaving their dog in the car with the window cracked. On the other hand you can be a child molesting teacher and yet never have to go to jail for any time at all. Feed a dog, yet let the hungry children starve. May God Bless America!

Bush plays his trump card for election edge for his party.

The last time President Bush went to Opec to get relief for the rising cost of gas it worked. He was able to convince the American public that it was okay to buy SUV's, because gas prices would remain steady. They did remain steady for two months just long enough to give a bust to the dead SUV market and then the bottom feel out, gas prices went higher than ever!
