In honor of earth day Barrack Obama gave a speech in Iowa; describing America moving into a new era of energy exploration. Obama stated that America needs to look to produce natural gasses domestically as well as focus on renewable energy. Obama made it clear that clean renewable energy is going to be the most beneficial environmentally and economically. I think all Americans can agree that we could benefit from being more careful about our use of energy. Simple little things that individuals do to use less energy can add up to benefit America environmentally and economically short term/long term. I feel that America depending less on foreign energy will also turn the tides positively as well.

I love the fact that Barrack Obama has again taken the initiative to put focus on a problem that we must address as a country. Americans all need to lend their hand and help the energy situation. Our Earth is not only our home but it will be home to our future Americans. Natural gas as well as renewable energy is a great way to start thinking about how to help our environment.

I agree that eco-friendly means of energy would prove to be way more beneficial than our current sources of energy one main reason being that this sources is running out and is getting very expensive for not just the Americans but world-wide. I'm sure people all around the globe would love a cheaper better source of energy.
