Possible Destruction, All For Political Corruption

1) Are we being destroyed as a country because of our on desirers for freedom?
A. Is the over pursuit of liberty as Americans destroying our protection?
B. Are the ideas of “A Free America” controlling us or are controlling it?
C. Are the laws written to protect the American people or to control the American people?
D. Are the freedoms we desire complex, or are they simplistic?
E. As America what price aren’t we will to pay for freedom?

2) Or are we being destroyed because of our own political corruption?
A. Do the America people have the true power, or do the governments have the true power?
B. Do our governments serve us or do we serve them?
C. Does the legislative branch make laws for the people or against the people?
D. Are politicians self serving or serving the American public?
E. Are the influxes of big business “Corrupting Politics” or are politicians “Corrupting Big Business?”

We are being destroyed! Who then “ Is The Real Enemy”, Amera-rist or Terrorist ?
Reality check:
Are we really worried about someone destroying America, or are we really scared that in reality America, is on a course of “Self-destruction?” You be the judge which is it?
* AMERA-RIST was made up to mean: American Terrorist, destruction by our people, self destruction.*

Several good points. Have spent alot of time traveling in third world. These trips always leave me feeling a profound sense of shame. America is a very comfortable place to live. When we are comfortable we seldom grow, tend to relax and sort of atrophy. The avg. American seems rather weak and pathetic compared to many people in the world who struggle just to survive. Most Americans struggle to get stuff...to improve images. Stories of people freezing or starving to death are a nuisance to us. Few people stop to wonder if those starving/freezing people may be finer people than they. I wonder if we may one day bow their heads in shame and curse their luck for having been born in this country versus some other...billions in other countries are praying that we one day will. Military stats on attrition of new recruits indicate that each generation keeps getting weaker, sorrier. We may be the best equipped military in the world but nowhere near the toughest or best trained soldiers. We chase our tails worrying about credit scores and other self absorbed narcissitic pursuits oblivious to the fact that things are getting pretty sporty all around us. Our leaders keep on helping themselves, just like the rest of us. Many people in the world despise us for what we are. We just shrug and think they only hate us because we are beautifull...we are proud to be Americans.... I love country, kith and kin...have serious concerns about whats becoming of us as a nation...the direction we are headed, the quality of the average American. Think we are incredibly un-prepared for any real crises; oblivious to the reality of what is happening to us.

gShaw, thank you for your response to my post. I never thought about something you said, are we prepared for a real crisis?
