Lets get together

As I watched ABC's morning show today, I heard something that caught my attention. A statement that hasnt been made yet about our presisdential race, or at least to my knowledge. Hillary Clintons informants commented about taking Obama as Vice Presisdent if Hillary won. At first, I thought, hey great, best of both worlds for Democrates. Then I thought, maybe it was a ploy to get Obama to ease up on this neck and neck competition. Hillary is seeing how close this race really is and shes getting scared that she might not win. "Hey if we can just get him to think he's won by siding with us, go with the big dog, maybe he wont push for the whole deal" (subconcious of Hillary). Obama declined right away to Hillary's offer saying, " I'm here to win the presisdency, to go all the way". It is something to think about though. What do you think, would you want Hillary as head and Obama the right hand man?

I think it would be too much for voters to take. I don't know why, but I just feel that it would turn many people off, and the we'd have another Republican president due to low voter turn-out.

I think if either one lost, which of course one will, it would be awesome if the other joined forces as vice president. That would be really nice to see. I heard rumors about that too.

I just don't see it happening. Although their views and proposals are very similar i just cant see it happening. It would be interesting though.

That would be a ploy for sure! In some way she is trying to put that thought in people head. She is very clever Obama should have just stuck with "I'm here to Win." Thats very persumptious or her, lets see what the American voters have to say about that in a couple of weeks.

I think that neither one of them would actually agree to be the other's vice president. It just doesn't seem like either one of them could settle for "second best."

I believe that Clinton taking the lead and Obabma being the right hand man is a good decision.I don't think that Obama has been exposed to as much as Clinton. I think he lacks the experience. I believe that if Clinton does win, he should be honored to be her VP.

I have more than one Amanda in my classes, so I can't give you credit for this unless you put your full name on it.

Amanda, it would not be in his best politcical intrest to become the vice presiden for Mrs. Clinton if she did win. He is young enough to run for office several more times. Being to closely assoicated with the Clinton's could ruin his new found impact.
