2008 Election
The 2008 is kind of funny to me. It is ironic that not only is there an african american to have a chance in winning the presidency running at the same time as the first female to have chance in winning a presidency. That is extremely ironic to me. Do you think it is ironic to have both of them running in the same election and know that if a democrat win it will be either an african american man or a woman?

I agree with u, but at the same time I think that it will be good either way it goes.
It just a sign of the times. America is faced with the fact that must deal with their true thoughts on a women rights and equality as well as that of minorities rights and equality also.
I'm happy to see that times are changing. I want to see change in our way of life in America. It will ground breaking history either way, black male or woman. Change is good.
I do not have "Frumunda" or "Black Is Power" in my gradebook and cannot give you credit for any posts or comments unless your name is on it.
I honestly can say i disagree with most of Obama's politics. I do however like his views on abortion and would love to see unity between races in America.
It was bound to happen at some time or another. Why not in the same election! It makes things a little more interesting, and I believe I heard on the news that more people are voting now than in the past few elections.
I do think it is kind of wierd to have them both running at the same time. I honestly was not planning on seeing a woman or a black man running for president for awhile, let alone at the same time. It does not bother me though. I am glad the people finally realize that not only white men can win a presidential spot.
Well, this is an interesting election. Whoever wins this election on the democratic side will be interesting to watch as president of this country.
This election is about the strong now.
I am speechless when I look at this from a higher point of view. When I look at this race, I see it in a wierd way. I see for the republican side; a side that is known to be wealthy, powerful, majority that controls the government, etc. is a side that is represented by a white/European rich man, but yet he's not well liked by his side (based on my limited research). Now when from the Democratic side you have a black/African American male, and a white/European female. I see it as this. If Mccain wins this election, America may have some internal problems, If Obama or Hillary wins this election, based on what they do, will have a huge impact on how people see those similar to them (whether it's race or gender) in upcoming elections. Media will cover this and carry this story for ages.
