John McCain said he would like to implement a new gun control policy. Where people have guns and people that use them to break the law should be punished but law abiding citizens should not. I think that it is an accurate statement to say that people will break the law with fire arms even if they are not allowed to be owned. Any thoughts by the readers?

Guns are weapons. They can kill someone, but they can also be used for sport and having a good time with friends. I go shooting all the time and have never thought of using my gun as a deadly weapon.

This is true, people will still get hurt on accident, look at all of the children that accidently hurt or kill themselves with guns? It's not fair to them because thier parent decided to not put the gun away.

I think that a new gun control policy would be good. However, I think that it would be even better if those people who break the law with a gun should no longer be allowed to own a gun. I think that firing a gun and any kind of illegal way is just like cheating, if it could happen the first time it could happen again.
