Gay rights?

I recently read an article in TIME magazine about the gay culture in Beijing, China. Some have described Beijing’s attitude towards the gay community as a triple no policy: no approval, no disapproval, no promotion. They still don’t have as much freedom as say a city like San Francisco but the gay community in China is still free to live their lives. How do you feel about gay rights? I think that homosexuals should have the same rights as heterosexuals. I am glad that society is becoming more accepting toward the gay community.
sorry i keep forgetting to put my name

I think that your sexual orientation should have NOTHING to do with your rights. Everyone deserves the same chance at everything.

To me gay rights are, on one hand, pretty much ok. However, on the other hand, I do no think that there should be gay rights. I’m pretty much in the middle with the whole thing. I feel like people should be able to love who they want to, but then I think of the affect that it would have on children and on people who believe that on a man and woman should be together.
