banning video games?

I think that if a person wants to play a video game where they go kill people, thats fine. I think it's a good stress reliever. And I think that the government has no place sticking its nose into the business of the gaming industry. Yes, many video games are violent, and that is because violence sells. If little ponies with rainbow sold to all ages then people would be buying, watching, and playing happy little pony games. Should a person understand that the video game is not reality? Of course they should. Just like a person should understand that everything they see on T.V. isn't real.

I think that the government trying to ban violent videos games is rediculous. Anyone who blames a video game for their problems and actions has more than one thing wrong with them. Its a game, made to have fun.

Unfortunately, there are some people, teenagers especially, that do not understand that everything they see in video games or on T.V. are not real. I do not think that people should play video games like “Grand Theft Audio” where people are getting killed just so the player can get points or just so the player can steal the person’s car or get away from the police. There are even adults that are imitating what they do in video games out in real life and it is costing innocent people their lives.
