May 4th of last month there was a U.S. air strike that killed dozens of Afghans. The Pentagon claimed that they had a video which showed Taliban fighters attacking U.S. and Afghan forces then running into a building which caused the U.S. forces to drop a bomb into the building which evidently killed women and children. Just from the claims, I believe the Pentagon did the right thing by bombing the building. So why haven't they released the video? Unless there are parts to this story that are being left out. Which would be a typical move by the pentagon.

We never hear the whole story of what's going on over there. They probably are hiding parts of the story. The problem is, nobody is going to do anything about it and it will be forgotten in a couple of days. We as Americans should be more questioning of our Government if we want to hear the real story.

do we really want to know what actually goes on in a war? all the tactics that must be excecuted to protect our freedoms. when a soldier has to shoot a child to save his own life, do we really wanna see that? it is better that some of the spoils of war be for the men and women there doing the dirty work, not publicised back on the home front so that we can tell them how wrong they were for doing what they felt necessary.

They have to do whatever it takes to keep out troops safe. If lying to Americans is what has to happen to keep them safe, then I’m all for it. Americans have to realize that they are in a state of war and mistakes can happen.

I think they had no right to bomb that building. They are trained for situations where they can proceed with caution. They could have went up in there and found the people who ran in there. They probably not releasing the video because they knew there were women and children in the building and they went ahead and bombed it anyway.
