This article suggests that if we gave North Korea the opportunity to be involved in the UN, that they may cease nuclear efforts. I think that this is clearly not the case. The North Koreans have continued with all of their nuclear efforts despite continued diplomacy efforts and stopping imports into the country. I think that the problem will just have to be solved as before with giving North Korea more money and aid to cease the actions that we dont like them to do.

I agree with the fact that North Korea will not release any nuclear bombs. But, I do not agree with that fact that we should be bribing them with money in order to just shut them up. If we know from past history that they will not do anything then why pay them. I think by throwing money at them we are just giving into them.

Well the thing with N Korea is, they don't want money or aid from a Democratic country so I have to disagree with this because that isn't an option in this case. They won't let us buy them off like that.

Lucas made a good point. They will not take our money. They want their people to think they are in total control. There may not be a diplomatic solution for this problem.
