$100 billion

$100 billion dollars is to much money to give away for other countries benefits. We don't even have everything together right here in America. We have a high unemployment rate, major companies need to be bailed out, and we have entire states filing bankrupt. I understand we want to help other countries, but we simply cant afford it.

I fully agree with you. We need to keep the money here. Have you noticed that in country flights are getting much cheaper? This is because the airline companies are trying to keep the money at home.

The majority of the foreign aid that is given out to other countries is not wasted. Most of the money spent is given to protect our own interest in their countries. If we continue to build democracies it will help keep America safe, and also help build our economy. Always keep in mind that 100 billion dollars in aid is far less than a 1 trillion dollar war.

I agree with you as well. America is in a recession and we give money away like we actually have it. The way that other countries are running themselves should not be #1 on our priority list right now, we need to be focusing on how our own country is being run and where the money is going to first.

I would agree with you. The U.S. does not have money to help support other countries when we can't even support ourselves. helping other countries if we had the money would be great but we simply don't have it. And from the looks of things we won't have it for awhile.

I completely agree with you as well. In the position we are in, we do not have the means to be bailing other countries out when our economy is suffering just as much. Our unemployment rate continues to increase and companies are needing bailouts left and right. We need to keep the money near home until our economy is doung much better. When our economy is on the rise again, then we can go back to helping other countries.

I think Justin really made a point there. We are giving out this money to protect our interests abroad and at home. It only seems right to help out other humans when they are in need.
