Shooter

One of the main debate topics for the upcoming presidential candidates is gun control. What are your thoughts on this subject? If we take away guns, will deaths go up in other categories?(stabbing, beating, etc.)

I think we should still have the right to own guns. I think there will see be a large amount of deaths due to guns, because criminals will still have ways of getting hold of weapons

I don't know... If guns were taken away, people would do all sorts of things to get their hands on a gun if they really wanted to. I do think that deaths by other methods would increase. But I also think that killers believe that they can do whatever they want. So, if they want a gun, they'll find a way to get it.

..Not all people who own a gun are killers. I think that guns are a way of protecting ourselves from other people WITH GUNS. LoL. I think that gun control is a major issue and I hope that whoever gets in office has the same beliefs and views as us people in the south :)

I honestly don't believe in having a gun. Though, I understand your point. For the people that often use guns for violence, they might still have access to them. The only thing the laws against them might do is dis-arm innocent people. Though with less guns around, we might be able to pin-point criminals a little quicker.

I think that gun control is a topic that has already been address well. I think that cictzens should be able to have guns. Crimanals dont care then why should I care if I have one tyo protect my family?

Crime is being committed daily. It do not matter if guns are being used or not. People will find alternatives to killing/harming others. We can not cure Stupidity!!

I have never known a criminal who bought and registered a weapon so those who want to ban guns are walking a line that they know little about. The only people who register guns (which is a huge generalization, I know) are people who carry or use their guns for sport or protection. Anything else will be just another step from a police state and a militant government.
