Gas prices on the rise

Do you think gas is to high? Everyday gas prices fluctuates between $2.96-3:15 a gallon(reg). Who can afford these prices? At the rate gas is, it makes it harder to travel for the holidays. After hurricane Katrina, I expected this, but one year later and its still the same. Is the supply demand for the United States that high? If all of America boycotted on buying gas for 2 days, will a change come? Probably not, it might back fire and we all will be walking to where we need to go.

Yeah, I remember when people were flipping out about it being $2...

And people are lazy here in America--really lazy (comprably). Imagine what would happen if people started walking to the store, or waking up earlier and walking or bikign to school? Things would probably be much nicer and since everyone was doing it it would be safer and more acceptalbe, thus perpetuating a positive feedback loop.

Honestly, after Katrina hit the last thing that was on my mind was the price of gas. I think the rise of gas prices is actually helping America in a way. It is starting to burn a hole in some of our pockets, forcing us to find alternative transportation. Car pooling, taking the bus, walking, it is not only saving us money, it is helping the environment. If we all boycotted buying gas for a two days, i don't think it would have much of an effect on the country at all. After we are done boycotting, we are just going to use the same gas that was in the gas stations two days ago. So does it really matter if we buy it today or two days from now?
