How much support can Bush give to McCain?

In a news article, George W. Bush is going to begin fundraising and making appearances in support of John McCain. I question how effective this is going to be. Bush's standing among politicians and the people has been dwindling for awhile now, and Congress has made that abundantly clear when his threat to veto an Iraq war spending bill was ignored.
While there may be a few people left in this country that are still in favor of Bush, I believe that McCain may just lose because of his support. Hopefully, we, as a whole, can look past Bush and focus on the issues that the presidential candidates bring forth.

I think McCain may loose as well. We dont need another republican in office anyway. Maybe there is a chance we can actually come out of this recession if a democrat was in office.

I don't think that Bush supporting McCain is going to have too much effect on the senator's campaign. Who else would Bush back? Obama or Hillary...I think not. No one should be surprised about this piece of news.
