If you let Warren Buffet tell it, the United States is already in a recession. Buffet said we were already feeling the effects of a recession, in this article I found on AOL. I have noticed that when I go to the mall there are A LOT of sales going on trying to stimulate the economy, hoping that people will buy more, but there are A LOT less people in the mall. Prices are rising for everything, from gas to milk. Not to mention, the near impossibility of finding a decent paying job in order to survive. Do you agree with Buffet?

Yes i sort of agree. Gas is on the rise and jobs are not paying nearly enough to survive. What will we have to look forward to in 2009?

I agree with the Buffett. I was in the mall today trying to find a bicycle helmet. Like Chantelle, I too saw lots of sale signs and a lot fewer people. My husband and I have good jobs but have also noticed that our paychecks aren't going nearly as far as they used to. Even that economic stimulus check didn't go very far. (At least we were able to buy bicycles so that we don't have to pay so much for gas.)

I agree with Buffet. I work in the restraunt industry as a server, and there is a definite decrease in the amount of people coming and in the tips. I don't see an end to this recession anytime soon, which leaves me wondering if my job is going to last.

I totally agree with buffet with the prices on the rise. I bought a gallion of milk and it was over $5. We can all feel the effects of recession by the way the economy is reacting. Not only are there sales going on in the mall but some store are shutting down. I totally agree with buffet!

I totally agree. I have been getting together with friends and family to prepare meals. It helps somewhat to prepare a meal with family to cut down cost on groceries. On the other hand it may not according to how far you have to go to the individual house.
Gas is another issue here that keeps you from going to places that might can wait.

Yes! I agree 100% with Buffet. We are in a recession and no one in the government wants to accept that. The government sent out stimulant checks to help populate the economy, Why send out money to help populate the economy if we are not in recession. They say go out and shop and buy material things but the reality is America need that money to make ends meet and get back on track with their bills.

I agree as well. Companies are being bailed out by the government..people are out of jobs and losing money. We are definitely in a recession. Hopefully we will be able to pull through and get over this soon.
