Not only is Bush taking cheap shots at Obama, the Tennessee GOP, is now going after his wife, Michelle. In this article I seen on AOL, Obama is telling the GOP that they can talk about him but to leave his wife out of it. The Tennessee GOP basically was targeting Mrs. Obama because of the comment she made a few months ago saying "she was finally proud of her country." Although, I feel she was taken out of context when she said it and she should have chosen a better choice of words, I also feel it is wrong for them to target his wife. That really was a low blow, what do you think?

I feel this was not a cheap shot at all. Her husband is running for President she needs to know there will be talk about her and her family. So when giving Speeches she needs to watch what she says before she hurts her husband anymore than she has.

I agree with John, If you are saying something in front of the media, it's game. You can't expect to say something and have zero response. I didn't read into her remarks beyond the, "I'm finally proud of my country," part, but you shouldn't say something like that, and Obama shouldn't have let his wife say that if he wanted her out of the race.
If you want family out of the race, don't get them involved in the race. It is the presidential election though, so the potential first lady will be out and about. Look at what happened to Kerry's wife in the 2004 election.

It is a low blow. Not to point fingers but you also have to look a the situation you have a black man running for president. Although we also have Hillary I haven't read many stories of other people shooting snide comments or putting in their own 2 cents on a situation like they have done to Obama. All I'm saying is that government seems to be like highschool, when the new kid come's in and all the girls like him there's a big problem. If he stays where he's at then no one has too much to say.

Yeah i think it is wrong . When someone say something doesn't mean they mean it in a certain way. Most people interpet things really most of the time.
