Same Sex Adoption

I believe that are far too many children in the foster care system for people to use the issue of a persons sexual prefrence as a predictor as to if a couple is eligable to adopt or not. My belief that same sex couples should be able to adopt as long as they were found finacially and mentally capable of caring for that child was concrete until I saw that shw with Rosie Odonald on that cruise. I saw that One couple allowing their little boy to get his nails polished and they said that they were letting him explore his options and decide what he wanted to be. Because of that I'm not quit sure where I stand anymore. Should a persons sexual prefrence be a determining factor as to whether or not they can adopt? Despite what statistics say can a child that has been reared in a same sex family be considered as "normal" as one that was reaed in a "normal" family?

i feel that anyone should be able to adopt a child. it shouldn't matter if a same sex couple does want to adopt. as long as they are financially dependable and have the time and love to care for the children
