I Pledge Allegiance...

Here a short history of the Pledge. Thought it was relevant because of the new legislature that "protects" the pledge. Most of note is that "under God" wasn't added until 1954, over 50 years after it's origin. Also of note is that it references liberals' removal of "under God", and pro-life conservatives added liberty and justice for all, born and unborn". While this is only the adding or subtracting of phrases while reciting, based on personal choice, the page makes the bold claim that the Pledge will be altered in this decade (writtin in 92), and now the only legislation is that recently prohibiting any Pledge alteration. Interesting?
