college students need medical coverage

I read some where that it may be required to have health coverage in order to attend a university. This is ridiculous!!! There are many students who are struggling as is, but they keep hope alive knowing that if they just press their way and finish their degree then they will eventually be able to afford good health coverage as well as other luxuries earned by completing a degree and landing a good job. I feel that this is an effort to weed out those who aren't so fortunate. If health coverage becomes a must in order to enroll in school then what will the outcome eventually be?

Yes, TCC students can get health care through Thagard. When I was a student, it was around $35. I'm sure it's gone up since then.

I can understand why that would necessary but not a lot of people can afford that. For the last 2 years I did not have medical insurance because I couldn't pay it. I only make $7 an hour work 38 a week. I have to pay rent, $325, utilities, $100 average. Thagard does have reduce insurance but I don't know if it would be enough for me.
