There are many children of illegal immigrants that have been in the U.S since they were infants. Consequently, they were raised and educated in the U.S., many attended elementary, middle, and high school. At the time of college enrollment, many realized that they did not have the appropriate documentation, such as social security number. Therefore they are not able to pursue higher education. Do you think that they should be able to have an education in the U.S. as an in-state student?
What about the children of illegal immigrants that were born in the U.S.? Do you think that the U.S. government should take away the right to these children to be U.S. citizens? Do you think that these children have to pay for their parents mistakes?

Only if they are born outside of the country. Generally the child of an illegal immigrant, if born in the U.S., has American citizenship (unless the law has changed recently and I didn't realize it).
The only taxes illegal immigrants don't pay are income and payroll taxes, they pay everything else.
I can understand that it would be hard for the parents that are illegal to get documentations and citizenship because they are new to the country and they may not know the language. The kids have a better chance because they can learn the language and customs. As soon as they reach the right age they can try to apply for documentations for themselves and their parents. The only things that could prevent the kids from persuing a higher education would be financial issues. Because with the parents not having the documentations, they cannot get a decent job to get money.
