I do not understand why we give foreign aid out? There are so many problems in our own country that should be top priority than sending money to Africa and other countries. People always say well they are living in poverty well there are people in America who are living in poverty as well. To what degree who is to say? I just fell that our money that we work so hard for is going to other countries when it should be helping out our own country.

I finally agree with you on something John. I have never understood why we were so quick to offer aid to other countries, when we have so many people right here in our own country that need help! We are so quick to help others, but slam the door on our own. Although, after doing our last assinment I realized we don't give that much foreign aid, there isn't much being done here to help our own.

Yes I agree with this statement. A lot of people in the United States are poor and we are sending money to other countries that are poor too. We need to help out our Country before other countries first. Our Country needs just as much help as others.

John, I too finally agree with you. I too feel sorry for the other coutries but what about your own. You not going to feed your neighbors kids before your own so whay a strangers. We put more restriction on ourselves than we do a foregner.

Well from what I understand John McCain is not for giving as much foreign aid as Obama wants to. This is a great idea to limit what we give. And keep this extra money in our country. Even though we have learned that it is such a small percent it is still alot of money.

I agree to. Do unto others is what is taught but were living in serious times where is our relief. If we give out billions to others then what are we receiving back? Whoever we have releived needs to send us their exports with the quickness.

I don't see anything wrong with giving Foreign Aid. I know that we are in need to but people in Africa are in major need of help. If we saw their predicament, we will be thankful for where we stand. Hopefully they will continue to send their exports in return. We shouldn't give out too much because if we do then we want have nothing, we will need someone to give us Foreign Aid.
