People recently have been going on fewer vacations. People have been going on fewer vacations because the economy is bad and also the gasoline prices. Gasoline prices may be the main problem why people are not going on vacation's as much. Gasoline prices are the highest they have been in the past ten years. Gasoline prices are doubled in other countries.

This is also going to hurt the state of florida because we are a tourist state and most of our profit comes from that. High gas prices does not only effect vacations this is bad for all. I know I will not be traveling anywhere this year because of the gas prices unless i take my bike.
I dont blame people for taking fwer vacations, things are getting too expensive and our pay is not increasing
I agree people should go on fewer and fewer vacations until they lower the price of gas.

Ever since the gas prices went up many families have been staying home during the summer and the holidays. I noticed that because when I get on the Interstate I rarely see cars from out of town. Gas prices are stopping a lot of families from traveling. Most families drive their vehicle when they are traveling. I guess that is why people are riding the train, the buses, and the airplane to try to save money. The gas prices are stopping people from seeing the world.

Yes the gas prices are high, but people need to stop complaining! Gas prices will never drop to a price that society is happy with; so quit talking and start cycling.
