Is the world ready for a black president?

In this article Joyce Susick states “I don’t think our cournty is ready for a black president.” She also states that “her personal objection to Obama is his inexperience, not his color.” It has nothing to do with race,” she said. People have been using this term for years when it comes to being honest about some “it has nothing to do with his color, but in the reality of it all it all boils down the color. As much as the world has changed racism still excites and it is going to continue. Most people can see have a black man as their president but they rather have someone would is going to make their life ten times hard than someone is going to lighten the load as much as possible. What do you think is it racism or not?

Many are failing to realize that Obama is not just black. Obama is black and white, but it goes to show that the color of your skin is still a determining factor. All people talk about him being BLACK, Obama is mixed! Just like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and Nicole Richie (I think). America really needs to get over the color of a person skin and judge by their character and actions.

I totally agree. I believe that Obama has America's best interest at heart. Despite his skin tone you can see that he cares for america like one of his kids and wants to see that we get better as a whole. It's really said when a person has to use the phrase "It has nothing to do with race" because it does. There are different types of black people, white people, hispanic people, so on and so fourth. In this day and time if anyone can't see that and not understand but overstand then their ignorant.

I agree that hidden racism exist because the article doesn't say is America ready for and inexperience president. Instead it includes the word black. I think America has had quite a few inexperieced president's. What was note in this was here inexperience not the fact that they were white.

I think it doesn't matter what race you are to be president, but some people probably do. That's why I don't think Obama will win the election. Race doesn't matter but some people are still racism and that's very wrong. It should not matter what race you are we all are the same.
