Economic Embargos on America

There has been an economic embargo in place against Cuba for almost five decades now. This embargo was put in place by the Eisenhower Nixon administration in 1960 to try to remove a communist Fidel Castro. Here we are 48 years later still with the embargo and it's target, Castro. Economic embargo is a dangerous political tool that can work both ways. With a diminished view of America from foreign countries and a recession looming near, we should watch our step to prevent other nations from giving us a dose of our own medicine. It seems to me that we are skating on thin ice and we should do everything in our power to improve our global image so that we can maintain our status as a world power.
