Do you find youself reading more gossip magazines than newspapers. We are all victims of this, including myself. It seems tome that most Americans these day are more wrapped up in whats going on in Hollywood rather than the very important issues our country is going through. In order to make a difference we must all be aware of what is going on in the news....so put down that gossip magazing and pickup the paper.

I think that the reason why Americans are paying more attention to celebrities then actual politics is because the "news" reports trivial things such as Brittney Spears going to rehab, or Angelina and Brad adopting another child from yet ANOTHER country. The sad thing is that it's our fault, so next time something comes up about the upcoming election or something that deals with politics comes on cnn, instead of turning the channel to MTV or VH1 stay and watch, that way the news company knows that we're not morons simply trying to etertain ourselves.
It's not our fault that we like to be interested. Magazines are way more fun to read than newpapers. We all like to read about gossip.
