Now the U.S. is being criticized for the way that detainees are being held in custody at the Bagram military base. I don't see what the big deal is because prisoners aren't being treated right in America. The U.S. has more than enough reasons why this situation should be taken seriously, for example 9-11. Until the people who are being detained are proven not guilty they should be treated like they have done something.

I think that the prison system in America is fine. The U.S. spends 50 thousand dollars a year on each prisoner, that is significantly more than in other countries. My guess is that it is related to their living conditions not being dirt and the fact that they get to see doctors if they get sick. People will always complain but if they want to complain about the U.S. prison systems they should look at other countries before they start. Russia for example.

The U.S. prison system is always being made up to be worse then it is. The American persons tax money goes to making sure these people are not being treated poorly or unsanitary. There is a large problem with overpopulation.
