Muslim Group Declines to meet with the Pope

Although the Pope is against the wars in the muslim world the U.S. Muslim group declines to meet with the Pope. Do you decline or accept a national figure of the world; I think not this is a show of no change in the world as we no it today. We all need to pray for peace in the middle east and have faith the god will hear our prayers. why do you think the us muslim groups decline to meet with the pope?
