Journalist freed by Iraqi army

Richard Butler, a CBS news journalist was captured two months ago, now finally being rescued by the Iraq army. Butler recalls the army as ''brillant''. Butler was rescued as part of a Iraqi operation to free up towns operated by criminal's. Butler is an example of how the Iraqi army is developing into a dominant force in their country. The United States should be proud of what they are accomplishing, with the army and government of Iraq. Butler hopefully will not be the only one rescued, but the Iraqi people can now feel alittle safer, about their own safety, and hopefully soon the U.S can step aside and let Iraq develop.

i agree, this event shows the progress made by the Iraqi military. Also Basra has a history of reporter deaths and Butler is lucky to have survived the two months he did.
