Is America Ready?
Is America ready for a woman president or a minority? Even though America claims to be the land of the free and with numerous opportunities and equality rights i do not think that they are ready for this. People view a woman as weak and a minority as almost an outsider running there country and not to mention there are still a number of people who are prejudice we just may not see it. How do you think our country will react if one of them wins office?

I think it's about time for a minority president. This is why this country is the greatest country in the world, because we are so accepting of other cultures. I'm ready for it, and hopefully the rest of the country is to, because it should be.

I don’t believe it will ever happen, there have been to much in the past, too many narrowed minded people on both sides to ever make it work.
Though it is highly unlikely to happen, I feel that America needs a minority or a woman to take charge. People tend to respect the presdient and having a black man or a woman in such a position of power might help to change those who are narrow minded.

Although I am not voting for either a minority or a woman this election (based on issues not on skin color or gender) I think America better be ready because it is going to happen one day soon. I have no problem with either a woman presidetn or a minority president in fact I think both might be good just not Obama or Clinton.

I'm ready for either a minority or a woman as our next president. I agree with Tylinda, this step might help change the views of narrow-minded people in this country.
George W. Bush made this country ready for anything. There will always be prejudice people in this world and hopefully one day they will be the minority.
