Darfur

The Darfur conflict in Africa is a genocide no way around it. The media in the U.S. doesn’t report it so most Americans don’t know about it. Basically hundreds of thousands have been murder just because of their race. I don’t understand why governments that are capable (not just the U.S.) don’t get further involved. I think that Darfur is a perfect example of the government and the media ignoring very important issues that should be addressed immediately.

I completely agree that this issue should be getting ALOT more attention than it is from the media. I might not of even known about it if it wasn't for my church and our mission work there. I think not only the U.S. but all of the countries in the United Nations should be doing something to end this.

I completely agree. If the government feels the need to get involved with Iraq, why wouldn't they step in in Darfur. I also agree there is not enough coverage on this at all, I mean come on there has got to be 10 shows everyday dedicated to Britney Spears, I think we could sacrifice some.

I agree with the other two comments! There definitely is not enough coverage on the genocide in Darfur. Thousands of people are being killed and why can't our government along with other strong governments put an end to this? I thought I heard of other places where this is happening, but I'm not sure.

Darfur deserves more coverage by the media then it gets right now. More media coverage would allow for more people to know whats happening and would hopefully allow for a quicker solution to the genocide happening in Darfur.
