Charlie Crist for Vice President...No Thank You

"If Florida Governor Charlie Crist is selected as McCain’s running mate, 30% say they’re more likely to vote for McCain, 31% say less likely"

This is a pretty sad viewing of our states governor. Personally I support McCain. I am a Republican, but in no way do I feel like Charlie Crist needs to do anymore damage to our government at the state or national level. I realize that our country is in a recession but the way our state is having to slash its budget to stay in the black is ridiculous and I personally am disappointed in the way he has handled our state in his term as governor.

"Imagine their (the people's) reaction if McCain picked a single man who has never owned a home, prefers to 'change hearts and not the law' on abortion, and has distanced himself from a campaign to ban gay marriage."

Maybe Charlie should stop allegedly thinking about being a running mate and start focusing on problems here in his own state...

Awesome, I'm really glad someone posted some good articles on Crist NOT being VP. I know it's easy to get excited about an official from our state being in the White House, but McCain/Crist would be a horrible ticket. I don't think Crist is like the worst guy in the world or anything, but there isn't even a snow balls chance in hell that McCain would chose him, he's too liberal. Even if he did it would be terrible. It would be like the rescission perpetuating duo in the White House.

Im not a Charlie Crist guru by any means, however, if I knew for sure that Charlie Crist would be chosen as McCains running mate as VP, than more than likely my vote would go toward the Democratic side of this election. Though I am a registered Republican and dissagree with how a lot of Democrats feel about how the government should be ran, I still would not vote for McCain.
