On television I saw a story about a woman whose daughter nearly drowns in a bath tub while the mother was watching American Idol. There were two children in the bath tub, (3 and 1 year old) when the three year old slide under the water and was drowning when a seven year old found the three year old nearly dead. The mother was not watching the two children in the tube because she was in the othere room watching American Idol with her seven and five year old children. The daughter had recently been having seizures so she should have had more attention. There were also blunts with marijuana in it and pieces of blunts previously smoked with marijuana in them so there is a possibility that she could have been high when the incident happened. The daughter is at a hospital in the intensive care unit with pneumonia and on life support fighting for her life in critical condition. The discussion was based on whether or not the mother should lose her daughter forever due to neglect. Should she?

Lawyer, I posted on this on last night also but it is not here, however I believe that this mom should be punished. There are laws against parental negalgence and child neglect.
this story sickens me!
I think that the mother should be punish. I t clear that she does not care about the well fare of her children. Which is really sad considering kids are innocent and precious. I pray that she is held accountable for her actions. So women should not be mothers and she is one of those women.
