Chinese Economy

In class the other day we were talking about the Chinese economy. I think it's interesting how people keep saying "China is going to buy the US" because of the economic crisis we are in. But people forget that their economic progress is inflated because going from 0 economic progress to their level would result in a higher rate of growth as opposed to the US which was already at a high rate.
