I'm really having trouble understanding why Hillary stays in the race. She has virtually no chance of getting the nomination. If we can calculate that out in our political science class I'm sure she has advisors that can tell her she has no chance of winning, or even if somehow she does, it will just get McCain elected. Is this an effort to keep the media focus on the Democrats? If this is actually some plight to somehow benefit Obama’s chances in the general election why does she keep running negative adds like the ‘I’m not bitter’ campaign in Pennsylvania? It just seems to me like she’s damaging the Democratic Party’s chances of getting into the White House by staying in the race. The only conceivable reason I could think of why she would want to stay in the race is maybe Obama will drop dead and she will get the nomination. But, even if Obama does keel over, and she does get the nomination she is still behind McCain in the state polls.

I don't think Hillary should necessarily drop out until she mathmaticially cannot comeback. I do however agree that in order to better the chances of a ddemocrat getting into office thay should stop attacking each other and attack McCain or political issues only. By the way I'm not saying this because I want her to win, I'm for McCain so them making it harder for each other is fine with me.

One of the reasons why I believe that she is staying in the race is because she wants to cause more controversy with Senator Obama because she would rather have McCain win than him. This is because both Clinton and McCain believe that he is not experianced enough or ready for the job. So the longer she stays in, the more she shakes things up and disbands democrats.

I also think Hillary should stay in the race till it is impossible for her to come back to win the nomination. Although having two democratic candidates in the race, I believe is making things more complicated for the democrats and giving more power to the republicans.

You are completely right. There is no reason why she is still in the race. Execept for the fact that she has to fight. What kind of person will she be if she just gave up on the election. I commend her on continuing to fight strong.
