I personally feel that the news has become to centered around entertainment issues. Majority of people have no idea of many of the real issues that are happening in the world today. For example many people don't know of the issue of Darfur. If the news focused more on world issues instead of what celebrity was dating who, than such issues as Darfur would gain more coverage.

The news is not the best place to get public information. the news is telling bad news most of the time because it draws bigger headlines. The news is selective about the information they put out.

I feel the same way about this as you. We are spending way to much time on celebrities in rehab then we do on Darfur. We need to teach what's really going on in the world.

The news nowadays is getting a bit outrageous. I think that most of the news channels only care about their ratings. They know that, unfortunately, more people are concerned about Brittney Spears and her babies than what is going on in politics. It is a sad world.
