Texas Two Step

Recently there has been much debate over the democratic primaries for the state of Texas. Texas is allowed to have both a caucus and a primary, allowing for its residents to vote twice. Even though this system was created by the states government, in a way I feel this gives more of an advantage to the candidate that wins Texas. Does this mean they have the chance to win more votes? Also it does not make much sense, that one district in Texas carries more weight than another. As a voter, I would find living in a district that does not count for much, I would feel discouraged and as if my vote does not really count. I wonder if this is a major concern for most voters living there and if there are future plans to change the system.

I think that it is important that maybe one district carries more weight than another because it all comes down to the amount of people that are they. A larger amount of people, the more importance. Sounds good to me.
