SC shooting
There was yet another school shooting in South Carolina in which one man was killed. Shouldnt there be better security in and aorund ALL schools and campuses. What more can be done to protect our felloow students around the nation?
This is going to sound really sarcastic but I don't mean for it to come out that way. Because you can't guarantee people won't hurt one another w/o having them restrained all the time, it is physically impossible to protect everyone at all times. Also schools are given enough money for all of them to have metal detectors and those metal detectors hurt the schools image. So they are frowned upon. But in the future we may be able to solve this problem.
The things that cause people to be violent are genetic and environmental. If we find what chemical causes this in the brain then it would be possible to administer drugs to people with higher levels of whatever that chemical may be so that they were not so violent. But as that is at least a few years off we will have to hope that parents will teach their children more self restraint and discipline so that they understand that there are better ways to solve your problems then violence.
there only so much to be done. There are still those people in this would who will break the system. I feel that if the entire school staff was allowed carring concealed weapons and permits, it would stear students away from shooting at school.
