Obama's Healthcare
Obamas plans are to make healthcare affordable to all, in doing this do you think other prices will have to rise or do you think he can make a task like this possible for everyone and everyone will be happy, yes or No and why not.
I'm sure he would be able to do it, but the quality of the health care might be a little questionable without a serious source of funding. Everything costs money, and health care costs a lot of money. Canada manages it, but their taxes are something like 50% (not researched but I remember hearing that number somewhere. It is probably a bit less but the idea is that they are quite high).
I agree with David i believe that health care for all is possible but the cost is going to be expensive. If Americans are willing to pocket some of the cost of health care for all then it may be the one of the best thing to ever happen to America but with the looks of our current economic state that may not happen right away.
There must be a way to lower health care costs without negativley affecting another sector. I do not believe, at this point, any presidential candidate has the right answer. At least the problem is recognized allowing room for more opinions. S Sadler
I do not honestly think the goal of making healthcare affordable to everyone is attainable. Though I would, I dont think most people who can afford healthcare would want to pay more in taxes or cut the budget of other important progams to make this possible. I would love to know where he plans to get the money to fund this.
