Obama has a great dissability plan. Obama says he will try to increase the employment rate among the disabled. I think this is great. My father has recently become disabled and will have to leave his job; to go on permanent dissabilty you only get $700 dollars a month. Yes that money helps but when you think of mortgages, car payments, utilities, cable, internet, groceries, gas, and supporting a family; $700 is nothing. I'm sure Obama's dissability plan could also help many other families.

That sounds great and all but how do they tell who qualifies for that and where is all this money going to come from?
I agree that there should be something done about the employment rate of the disabled. My sister is also on permanent disability and would love to work. It is unfair to tell her that if she gets a part time job, the governemnt will nolonger offer her any support. This seems to send the message that we dont want the disabled in our work force.
