According to ex-president Carter George W. Bush's adminisration is Isreals worst ally. His reasoning is that Bush has not done anything to bring a perminant cease-fire to Isreal. He also called for a removal of all troops from Iraq, Carter said that he would like to see a major withdraw by no later than the end of this year. I do not agree with Carter about the Busg administration being their worst enemy, i think Bush is not pushing for a perminant cease-fire because he would rather see longterm peace instead of just a cease-fire that would temporatily stop the attacks. I also think that the troops in Iraq should remain there until our objective of bringing democracy to Iraq and returning their sovereignty is completed.

When you make claims like this, you should back them up with a link.
President Carter says that the Bush administration is Israel's worst ally because he hasn't done enough to bring a permanent cease-fire to Israel? Since when is Israel dying to make peace over there? If both sides actually wanted peace it would be a lot easier to make terms for a cease-fire but it doesn't look like either side wants it. There is sooo much hate between Arabs and Jews that it looks impossible for Israel and its surrounding countries to ever have a permanent cease-fire. I don't think Arabs and Jews will ever be able to live in complete peace; it seems like they are raised to hate each other and until that stops I don't see any long term progress being made.
So let's say the Bush administration is Israel's worst ally. Who, then, is Israel's best ally? Hmmm that's got to be a very short list right? Maybe the Bush administration is Israel's worst ally but best ally at the same time.
Why can't we all just be friends?
