Where's Osama, Does Anyone Care?

I sometimes wonder how focused the government still is on the capture of Osama Bin Laden. The situation in the middle east is so fragile with Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq. I'm beginning to believe that the government is more concerned with stabilizing that area in the world, and righting the mistake of invading Iraq. What makes me sad is the fact that the government will never admit that this was a mistake. All the people who died will never get a public apology.

I think there will never be a public apology because it is the tendency of governments to not make mistakes (and by that I mean they will almost never admit that they have done something wrong). So that isn't really a big surprise.
I honestly think that our government shouldn't worry so much about stabilizing the situation in the middle east. Did they cause it? Partly. If you look at the history of that area, it has been a war zone forever. And in my opinion it has been worse since Israel was created. I think the government should provide a little assistance to that area, but should focus more on solving problems within the U.S. rather then outside of it.

I believe Bush did say something on the news about how it was a mistake invade Iraq and involve so many American soldiers. But I think that's about as close as we'll get to an apology.

It is sad that our government seemed to sway away from catching Bin Laden. I mean i haven't heard anything about it in so long i almost forgot about him. I hope they change their veiws and eventually catch him since he is so dangerous.

I think the reason the government is not so focused on capturing Osama Bin Laden is because Osama is already dead. I believe if he was really still alive then he would be sending out more videos of himself bragging of how the U.S. has not caught him yet. However, the government may know that Osama is already dead and is just keeping it on the down low so that they will still have and excuse to stay over in the Middle East.

I agree. We were suppose to go to war because of the terrorist attacks. With that being said, we went to war with a country who had a bad dicatorship. The government just used the 9/11 attacks as well as Osama as an excuse to got to war with Iraq (if you want to call it a war). It still does ot make since to me. 9/11 incident occurs by individuals from another country besides Iraq who are trained by U.S. officials (so the media says), but government say another country is responsible for the attacks...doesn't make since.

I think that was crap and I have not heard comments on that man Osama so to me this was all just a big waste.

I believe that every single troop and family member deserves a hand wirtten apology from President Bush. The sad thing is until this post i SERIOUSLY almost forgot all about Osama Bin Laden, the very cause of our men being in this war.

Seems like the reason for the war will never be clear to me. I thought after 9/11 we had a reason to fight for our country, but after so many people have lost their lives and the government acting as though they don't know what's going on I don't know...... does anyone care?
